Is there anything I can do to stop it from happening? When I switch to another app, let's say email, and the cores are still at full throttle I feel like it is using unnecessary power. I think it is silly to have to sleep the screen every time I stop using chrome but before I switch to another app.

LTE asianflavor LTE is working here just fine. Only difference is I get less bars than on stock rom. Same speed though. Screenshot is a speed test at the house.

Sky Dragon Kernel works perfectly. Have been running it for at least 3 days without an issue. The 10m update also fixed lag so the phone flies now.

You could always download tweaksbox and do it yourself in a matter of seconds. I'm sure zone23 has enough work cut out for him to have to worry about an unnecessary zip. We really need to be helping out with the deodex beta to improve development.

Not sure if this is a permanent fix but I was having the same issue and I froze Google Play Services using Titanium Backup and unfroze it. The blue color came back and has been on since. Despite the color change I never had any service interruption. Hope this helps. Thanks Team Illusion, this...

Try turning on intelliplug in Trickster MOD. Had the same issue you are describing and that seemed to fix it. Have not noticed any issues since.

Google only saves a thumbnail of the original photo. I have to reassign all of my contact photos every flash unfortunately, if you want the full size.

Any time I flash an AOSP rom and try to use the touch focus I get a force close of the gallery. Is there a fix for this of any kind? I have tried clearing cache/dalvik, clearing data/cache from the app and still nothing fixes it. I love the non touchwiz roms but cant get over having a flimsy camera.

Those kernels are all decent but still dont compare to saber or perseus on touchwiz. Im surprised they dont last longer being that the roms are so much smaller.
