Just signed up last week with the DirectTV unlimited plan and I can confirm that tethering works great for me with the stock app. Not sure if it's intended to but I will keep my fingers crossed that they don't catch it. ;)

Newbe question If you have an unlimited plan, why would you need FoxFi? Maybe I'm not understanding what it does. Is there any benefit if you don't have an unlimited plan?

I think that I am stuck in some sort of recovery boot loop. I was about to install 2.8 ( from 2.7) and when it boots into recovery, I get stuck at the TEAMWIN screen. It just flickers every few seconds. Any way to recover? Thanks all!

Soooo... After about 2 hours of solid searching, I have not been able to find any sort of direction to move CM12 on my Kindle with 7.5.1. I have gotten as far as root but that's it. Any ideas??

The native Google Now app on your phone does a great job. Just add your teams and you get card notifications just like weather or anything else. Seamless

Anyone found a way to disable the Exchange security without Xposed? I would love to use this ROM but that is a deal killer for me. :(

Wanam was the only one that I could get to work with the security bypass but is has the constant FC like you said. The other modules haven't been updated to work with this ROM. Any ideas anyone?

I'm kinda' stuck on this one... If I install the xposed Exchange security bypass, the phone locks up and reboots every few minutes. Must be incompatible. Any other options out there to get Exchange to work?

What does this do other than test the functionality? What I have noticed with any ROM and Baseband mismatch (my case NF4 and NF9), that either the GPS is really slow (>15 seconds) or is terribly inaccurate.

Is there any special process now that my phone is back to stock and encrypted to flash a custom ROM?

My company mandates that my phone be encrypted if I access the Exchange server. Every custom ROM that I have looked over removes KNOX and the phone's ability to run the encryption setup. Is there another solution?

Encryption Jovy, Will the ROM still allow encryption without KNOX? My company's Exchange policy mandates it and I have yet to find a solution for a custom ROM since they all remove KNOX and that seems to have some sort of hook into the encryption.

Thanks! I will give this a try with the official 3.5. I can't complain that my new company allows me to use my own device. I guess that would explain the needed security. I have gotten the device to encrypt on the odin stock image. Other than rooting and the recovery, is there anything else...

Encryption? I have never had to encrypt my phone before but my new job requires it to setup Exchange. I can't seem to get the encryption to take. Every time I try it, it seems to work but Exchange asks for it all over again like it didn't take. Ideas?

After downloading from another source and installing the email fix, everything is working great. Fast and even after one charging cycle, battery life is very nice. The only things that I have noticed missing are the "OK Google" detection from any screen and WiFi calling. Any ideas?

Has anyone had issues connecting with Exchange? Even when I try to manually enter my details, it just pauses on the "Verifying settings" window.

How to tether? Can anyone provide what they did to successfully get tethering to work? Stock app or FoxFi? APN Edits? :confused: In the OP it states that some folks have had some success altering the tether APN. I'm guessing that they manually created one? What is the "IMS" APN for?

Can't flash it for some reason... When I try, TWRP just pauses for a second and then restarts back into recovery. :eek:

Nope but keep it handy for later if you want to make changes after you install. You just need to run the installer setup (its just like aroma) and then flash the ROM. It reads the setup file that you just created with the installer.
