This is probably a dumb question but is there a way to wipe the internal sd card completely while flashing a custom rom via flash fire. I need to debloat some left over app files.

Does anyone else have a problem with low volume via headphones. It gets even worse if I try to use audio FX. I tried looking for a mixer file that can be edited and that is referenced in some fixes to no avail. Has anybody tried viper mod with this ROM?

Exactly this. I had no issues until I tried using Bluetooth headphones and wifi at the same time. I thought I was going crazy lol.

After that I used the super tool in the index to get root and immediately block ota updates. Use the same tool to install flashfire. Then follow your rom of choice's flashing instructions.

That's the one I used. I went from 5.1.3 to 5.1.2. I think the warning is maybe for the known brick that will happen when trying to go to 5.1.1 from anything higher. You may wait on someone else to confirm/contest my thoughts as I'm still relatively new to rooting the fire.

You will need to downgrade your fire OS to 5.1.2 via ADB. The link to the instructions is in the index section.

I don't mind having the apps on the internal memory. I really like being able to download Roms, gapps and a couple of apks to the external.

So I have hunted around the forum and this thread. Tried the SD card fix app in the play store but it says I already have correct permissions. How do I move a file from internal storage to external SD?

So if I'm going from a 6-26 nightly to M8 should I do a fresh install or would it be ok to wipe dalvik and cache and just flash cm. Would I need to flash gapps again?

I'm guessing it may not support it. I lost HD voice when I flashed CM as well.

That sucks I didn't know what I was missing until I got CM. My main complaint with my last Rom was my battery life was getting pretty bad.

I don't think this will help but I came from galaxy Fre rom I did a GPS lock in Google maps then did a factory reset in twrp twice restarted twrp and installed CM restarted twrp then installed gapps and booted up. This is my first time to use AOSP (on this phone) . But my GPS works fine.

Switched on auto retrieve while roaming and it fixed the MMS not downloading, in case anyone else is a bonehead like me.

Ok everything is running great. I'm having an issue that I have had before when running CM on a different device. MMS are not downloading. I'm currently roaming, does anyone have any tips?

Is it easy enough to go back to a TouchWiz Rom if I try this out? Ie restore from twrp. Does this cause issues with file structure on the SD card?
