A guy I work with that has the same phone, not rooted, said he updated, and his phone is like a hell of a lot faster. We have both been having speed and signal issues, now he says he can actually watch youtube. Must be nice.

When that happens, it's often the charger. I've gone through this many, many times. With my phone, with different roms, with the wifes phone, not rooted... Best I can figure is, it has to do with an incorrect current being provided by the charger. Try a different charger. As in, totally different.

yeah, apparently for right now you have to use an app for usb to pc. The one recommended is called multimount. Works, decent enough.
