I managed to get it to boot this morning by not wiping system. did everything else as the op posted.

I must be unlucky It will not fully boot on my phone. it stayed at the G logo yesterday for 2 hours. followed the directions in the op using TWRP.

mine was never unlocked. that in its self may be the issue as well. Im looking for ways to get mine back up and running as expected moto support was un helpful. the only thing they would say was to send it in to them.

There is more involved in using US gsm carriers than the UICC unlock. Search the threads for domestic unlock and you will find it. You have to have UICC unlock before trying the domestic unlock Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk

None yet. The only way to get it at the moment is to use Odin and flash stock and then do a factory reset in recovery. That should get you back to official so you can take the ota. If not flash the nk4 again Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk

Pull the battery to make sure phone is all the way off the reinstall the battery and go back in to download mode and try and reflash. I can't remember of you can go back to 4.2.2 but if so that should work Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
