thanks for the response, I have already tried it from two different computers with 8 different usb cords and from 11 different usb ports.....I have also tried flashing with odin twrp and cwm as they now have the touch version but haven't tried phyls recovery as I can seem to find it..... again...

Honestly when flashing the note 2 you have to add the info into both profile 0 and 1 and enable profile 1 then it should activate correctly.....what usually happens is that it will fail to activate till you flash the zip that I will add after I find it....... K Look over in the note 2...
