I don't understand what you mean by "Get the number released". They are both Sprint phones. Do you mean get a new sim card? The phone number transfer worked just fine on the stock operating system. I only had problems once I flashed the rom, as it's not registering the Note 7 operating system...

No, I had the sim card in when I flashed it. The US Sprint S3 that I have doesn't have a sim card. Don't know why not, but it doesn't. My phone number is currently assigned to the S3.
