I've always had Android phones with SD cards and was mostly able to always keep files other than Apps (and a few things like Titanium BU license) on the SD so when changing phones, or ROMs or having the need to reset I never was at risk of losing music, books, pictures, etc. Do any of you have...

I have an NFC embedded in my hand. When scanned it takes a person to a URL where I have the ability for them to "click" (with their finger) on certain buttons for my personal vcard or one of my business vcards... or my Facebook, Twitter, or LinkIn pages so that they can friend or follow me...

But the last few months they've been excelling! All I know, as a Samsung fanboy in the past... I couldn't be happier that I chose to change to the Z Force... besides not bursting into flames in my pocket... the battery life puts EVERY Samsung I ever had to shame.

So I finally Odinned back to stock 5.0 and now have taken the OTAs... but they went right past PE2 and I'm now on PG2. Can I still flash this (after I get root back) or do I have to Odin back to PE2?

Do you not use Google/Samsung backup? I'm just saying that you could do a clean wipe and the Google/Samsung backup would restore you back to whatever you have set up now? I'm not opposed to you rooting, I do it as well but haven't yet rooted the replacement phone I just got because of a broken...

Got mine in the mail today. Happy with how it looks. It is very light weight but I'm hopeful that it will hold up just fine. Just wanted you all to know you can trust this guy. I ordered on Friday... and received it on Monday. Hard to beat that!

I am currently awaiting Samsung replacing mine that was broken in the same way. I had previously purchased a set of two charging cradles (non-battery E-Bay models) for about $20 and am planning on using them most of the time going forward as I don't expect that Samsung will replace it for me...

Two Words: Mobile Hotspot. Wait... Also Titanium Backup is a must for me. Oh! And being able to get rid of bloatware. Those are 3 VERY important reasons to root. Hope that helps.

Yup! I'm glad I ordered a two pack of the non-battery types and already had one... when MY cradle broke. Same problem as the rest of you. Unbelievable that they break like this. I'm nothing less than a Samsung FanBoy and this has put a damper on my enthusiasm for sure.

Just to update you Scamp. bda never came through with anything. In another thread he rambles about having sold the rights and/or "patent" (I say it in quotes since I searched the patent office records and came up with nothing) to someone in Asia but won't give any details. So the bottom line...

In theory... I just did several searches for "watch" with additional parameters such as dates and found plenty of interesting drawings and things regarding watches... but NOTHING that relates to what we are needing for our Gear S.

And now we are only 6 days out for the testers... per the last weekly communication 3 weeks ago.

Got root after doing a hard reset after doing the Odin. The reason I'm wanting root is to run a hot spot. None of the hot spot apps I have found are working. Any ideas or favorites I should try?

Hmmm... I did it last week. I don't recall there being anything special I did other than click on the "Enable Native Hotspot" button and then I clicked on "Add all Notifications Toggles" down below that in order to add the "Mobile hotspot" toggle to the Notification bar drop down. Let us know.

I can confirm that Galaxy Tools worked to get Hot Spot working. Also... You can use Galaxy Tools to add a Hot Spot Notification bar icon.
