at first i wasn't gonna bother with temp root, but one of the things i did need was titanium backup to restore a bunch of data. this worked absolutely perfect! thanks for the great write up

it did eventually stop randomly....but then started back up, but as of now..its not doing it. seems sporadic... i may go get it exchanged though...since i just picked it up an hour ago

Anybody have or seen this issue? the bottom button lights will not turn off. even if i turn the phone off, they still stay on. am i missing something?

i do recall them saying something about that. from what i remember reading, it was said that there will be a dock update released (not sure when) ...and it will put the dock into a low power state when not connected, or not being used.

all purchased apps are linked to your google account. once you get the new TF, just jump on the market (assuming you're already signed onto your google account), and they will have to be re-downloaded....but it will recognize that the apps were already purchased.

the best part about this is that a factory reset could very well fix the issue...or other issues that people are having that others are not, but because they have to reinstall apps and set everything else up again, they just dont want to because they are lazy. so instead of trying a possible...

if i try to go to the manual update search...its grayed out, however it says "There is an update for your device. Please check notification." but there is no update icon showing up. ive expanded the notifications, but its not showing up. I've rebooted many times, by powering off or using hard...

if i recall, this is a known issue with the dock. When not in use, it will still drain the battery. If plugged into the tablet at the time, im pretty sure the tablet will drain also. I think asus is aware and i thought i saw somewhere that there will be a fix once 3.1 is out, that will put...

there is a few threads on the dock with people who installed it. i installed yesterday and everything is working perfect. no problems at all.

i kept my dock connected while doing the update. went through fine.

mine did that before the update. seems that the charging icon wont show when the TF battery is fully charged.

As many others, just got the firmware update a little while ago. firmware is now 8.2.3.13 and dock is EP101-0209 is everyone else who got this update missing the dock battery icon that they added on the beta firmware a few days ago?

i turned on my TF and it just showed up as a download for me

wow...this update seems very promising from everybody's reactions so far can't wait to get the official update. did the rep say anything about a firm date for the official release? i've seen anything from "the next few days" up to "2 weeks"

i get the same thing too. just a single pop on boot. I just tend to ignore it since the speakers seems fine.

also requested an invite ...forgot what time though. hoping for the best.

when you go into the market and choose my apps, any of the apps that have an update available should show up above the "installed apps"

to be honest, the tablet alone fits really well inside. it does leave a tiny bit of room, but in my opinion its not "too big" if its just the tablet itself. when i first saw the pictures i thought the same, however it was smaller than i expected when i got it

i was having the same issue....made a thread on it yesterday. I think thats normal though, cause i turned it on today...it says charging, the lightning bolt is not showing, but the % is not going down.

this app is amazing. just got it from the market....works perfect!
