To tell you the truth my main phone is the Note 9, if I had wireless charging I will never use cable. and I use Bluetooth earbuds. so I have no use for the USB C port. But yeah the no wireless charging on the pixel 4a 5G got me down.

Edit: on my snapdragon s7 tmobile, under developers option there is a OEM unlock button I turned it on. What does this do? Is my bootloader now unlocked?

I was getting overheating issues and battery discharging so fast with the kernel provided in this rom, I flashed Flashpoint 1.0 pie and my better life is so much longer and rarely overheats. If anyone wants to test it, back up your existing files.

It was working fine after install but a day later it does not charge when powered off. But it does charge when powered on. Very weird. Never had this problem is RR Oreo.

Cannot seem to find this in this rom. Its not just startup. Even normally locking phone I have to enter pin, even though I setup fingerprint.

Also what CPU Governor should I use. My phone gets a little warm/hot when charging and watching videos.

How do I get finger print to work? I set it up with on new phone setup I registered my fingerprint + used the 4 Digit Pin. When I turn on my phone it only asks for the pin no finger print.

Yes provide twrp image. The normal one sucks and takes too much time and instructions are not clear on how to flash it.

Did you wipe completely before flashing stock or did you just dirty flash?

So first, did stock flash work? only doesn't work when you try to install magisk right?

Wipe phone, put it in download mode, flash stock rom using odin, root and install twrp again and try to flash magisk again.

If its not letting you I don't think you can. Just try to get on PC and update through samsung kies.

If its a entirely different rom then full wipe, if its an update of the current rom (aka new build) just dirty flash and clean cache/dalvik Personally I update everytime a new build comes out for my rom.

Just download magisk and put it in your sd card and flash it from twrp. Clear cache before and after.

This is so much easier with magisk. Why are people still using this outdated method?
