v8 and previous versions have reboot options. When you long press the power button, you can click on Reboot, then you have a few options in there. Normal, Recovery, and Bootloader all work for me. I haven't flashed v9 yet.

I'm using the 13.04.19 radio and seem to get great speeds and reception with the 179 RIL.

Its been working good here, but I'm on a Sense ROM. If you go back a few pages, there was talks about the RIL on a Sense ROM vs a Non-Sense (CM7) ROM. That could be your issue.

Titanium is showing System ROM = 575MB for me too, with 37.5MB free.

Yeah, I'm using the one in the first post. Its the standard green battery with the % in white over it. As the battery drains, the green will turn to yellow and red like usual.

Or uninstall the Windows Phone Support Tool (if you have it installed), then re-run that setup.

I'm willing to see how 2.3.4 is in hopes that they actually fixed more than those listed, but I've been half tempted to go back to Froyo because of these issues. Plus since it looks like I could still use the new GTalk app, its even more tempting. Froyo seemed to work great for me.

The two that I know of that are pretty good are BeeJive and Trillian. Neither is free though, but both support push in Froyo and Gingerbread.

Did you try uninstalling, rebooting, clearing cache and Dalvik, then reinstalling? Its working fine here on a tweaked stock GB ROM, but it acted weird at first until I rebooted and did those steps. My push notifications are even working still.
