I'm not sure if you misread my post but I'm asking the OP how is this phone VS a SAMOLED screen is because they are best in class and from what I've seen this phone's black levels seem horrendous. I'm not saying that SAMOLED screens have bad black levels. Also I'm using a Galaxy Nexus.

From a modding perspective I can already think of several ways for this to be achieved pretty easily (minus the camera, I don't really know those too well). If you're comfortable with a soldering iron and have a bunch of time on your hands, most of these things can be achieved pretty cheaply.

My multitasking button used to have a 1/2 - 1 second delay before displaying and now it seems to be consistently appearing instantly but besides that I don't see much change. Still good though, that delay used to bug me a lot.

I got the camera face plate from the original housing. Its a pretty straight forward change all you do is you lift the metal tabs and pull it off. If you plan on doing it you'll see exactly what I mean.

Just did my replacement, since I use the extended battery cover the white housing camera faceplate looked pretty terrible with the grey cover so I replaced it.

Any pictures of those two together? I m wondering how thick it ends up looking with the bumper, it should make it look a little better.

Honestly you'll be hard pressed to find a case that DOESN'T fit the i9250 with the extended cover. Some might fit better than others but they'll all work. Verizon users aren't as lucky.

It doesn't exist yet. People have spotted a few white verizon branded back doors recently so the housings should come soon. It was the same way for the i9250 model, the doors came before the housings did.

Most generic screen protectors are the same; they're just clear. The problem with them is that the cut outs are usually a little off if you get a cheap one. SGP probably makes the best ones that I've used but they're expensive.
