It happened to me once, just reboot and the bug should disappeared.

look inside the rom zip, with winrar, 7zip or another programe, there is a boot.img file that's the kernel recommended if you flash .79 ftf, you need to flash the kernel after and finaly flash the rom via recovery, the rom have root right, no need to root like all custom rom buddy.
