i didn' try that but when i rooted with kingroot i was able to use safestrap and flash supersu.zip.. however supersu can't update binaries when kingroot is installed (don't know why). so i guess i'll have to do the procedure to remove kingroot and replace with supersu

you may be experiencing the same issue as i do.. install disableservice app and check if systemupdateservice is unchecked in googleplayservices, if so, re-check it and you'll get back deep sleep. the only problem is that due to random reboots you'll have to do this everytime your phone reboots...

flash 20150205 hporch32 kernel. it's the most stable IMO

I've been taught to go strait to the point when asking something. Being that said, the ROM is great (I mentioned it on my first post) it's just that issue that keeps it from being perfect to me. I didn't know it didn't have a solution. Thanks again

With great enthusiasm I found this ROM and flashed it and it's great but I have an issue with screen off. When the phone goes to sleep I sometimes can't wake it up (the buttons light up but the home screen doesn't show). I've tried flashing different kernel version of polesapart from the dropbox...

Android-Andi after a reboot, galery and youtube work fine. still i can't use the cam

slim mini gapps build 8x. these don't have the youtube app, i downloaded it from the playstore

Android-Andi i noticed that gallery app doesn't work (i can't see any photos nor play any videos). youtube app doesn't play videos either. would this be related to the camera issues? or am i f**d?

wiped everything and flashed without gapps. camera failed at first try then it worked for a couple of minutes and then it freezed. it ended at "can't connect to camera". here's the bugreport

hi. i installed v5.3 in my e970 and almost everyting works fine. these are the problems so far: no need to flash the sdfix (which is also a kind of patch for my model) to fix system ui fc but microsd card doesn't show; if i flash sdfix, microsd shows but system ui is borken; can't switch...

i haven't used the camera since the day i flashed v5.3 until this day and i notice that i can't switch from front cam to back cam. it only switches resolutions (1mp to 8mp supposedly). anyone else having this problem?

well.. i can confirm that flashing the sdfix fixes the microsd card not showing but breaks system UI
