Okay i think this will fix your phone, get into download mode(turn your phone off) then just hold the volume up button, and plug it into your pc, now your phone should be in download mode, then open the lg flash tool on your pc, and boot the v10 version (its android 5.0) then you root it using...

My phone does a weird thing even if you flash 3.1.1-0 TWRP which is the newest for our phone, once you use it and boot to recovery again after it goes to 3.0.3 TWRP, does anyone else have this issue?

Well there is the problem ive looked for the twrp image but couldnzt find it even it just boots in 3.0.3

I have tried this but still the boot time is only longer but the interesting thing about this thati tried this while running TWRP 3.1.0 but when it rebooted back to TWRP it downgraded it to 3.0.3
