Pardon but what needs to be done to get the modified m2sd script working? Is the copy-paste-thing still necessary? What are the options that need to be ticked when installing the modified m2sd? I found multiple statements inside the thread that are different to the one in OP :confused:

Like you mentioned, the rom is rock solid, so why do you need a new release? If you find bugs just logcat and push to the bugtracker on nikez.nu.

Hey there is an incredible new and awesome feature coming with the new XDA theme, it's called a SEARCH FUNCTION.

This is the ICS version of the rom, post in the correct thread! But nevertheless the JB version is an PRE-ALPHA, so speed is not that important as get it fully working.

Try using the a2sd-configuration with Y-Y-Y, it moves data to sd-ext and will free internal memory. here with 16gb class 4 card it runs as smooth as it has been with Y-N-Y setup.

If you mean "T9 Dialer" just grab the specific apk from sandvolds rom and replace the one at /system/app/.

Isn't the 'hard' part to make it run on this old device since there are no current driver?! Thought about starting with android earlier but with this old device it's kinda hard to start with 4.0, isn't it?

new build is working great so far. new google play version is working aswell. only problem is that go keyboard gives me reboots while installing/using

Come on dude, we don't need to advertise nikez rom in his DEVELOPMENT thread. you can get informations in the FAQ, if you are still interested after this: try the rom! otherwise get another one

Here is how barcoo looks like (for Barcode Scanner its the same): edit: I'm on a7 after full wipe. Didn't had time to test a8.

Anyone got a hint for barcode scanner? Barcoo and zxing barcode scanner got broken cam (is it known bug?), QRdroid works but is damn slow.

May this comes from huge system-apps like chrome!? when i used chrome with a6 i haven't been able to update gmail or facebook for example. after i deleted chrome it worked again.

Is it possible to switch the a2sd script from amarullz to standard a2sd? I think my sdcard is too slow (reading app-data) for amarullz and want to see if i'm wrong but without starting from scratch.

true story, BUT i like my mobile data to be turned off while phone is in my pocket. so it only syncs every 15min. but i really don't know if it saves more battery than it drains, just using it for a couple of days. EDIT: is there any workaround to re-enable mobile data after using wifi? this...

Why don't u backup ur rom, install this one and explore everything on your own? Nearly everybody posting in this thread will call this rom impressive since it is really awesome work by sandvold and his mates.
