So ive been rooted with this method since day 1. I decided to do a factory reset format data. To get rid of encryption dialogue on twrp. NowWhatsApp cannot send or receive media. And no app can save anything to the internal memory at all. I tried everything. Any ideas? Anybody?

Because Download/Emergency mode and bootloader mode are different. adb reboot bootloader works on samsung/HTC and others but for LG. While the phone is off press Vol Up + CONNECT USB. IF there is a adb command to reboot to download mode I don't know it. Unless you mean Fastboot. Then try adb...

I had full 4.3 bootloader/firmware for t999L **edit** i must add i have not flashed the above mentioned kernel. i will report back shortly with the results.

No There is way more involved in changing a phone from one carrier to another. Reading/Writing SPC is only the beggining. If you send the 16-Digit Samsung Default Password you can pretty much do anything to this specific model. Once i get a chance i will post how to get this model Fully...

I see you said "shift" instead of "space" Try it like this in this exact same order: r - space - pwr then keep holding r - space until it enters recovery

another method are you rooted already? try doing adb shell su reboot recovery
