Hello, I received a notification for an update in the the LG G3 App Update center, my phone is on Stock marshmallow and not rooted. Please Who else received this update. And what exactly does it do. Pls note i haven't received any security update from LG. See screen shots.

Pls open appeal to any developer, is it possible to use this to create a root exploit for lg g3 running marshmallow. We LG G3 users on stock MM need root. Thanks in advance.

Also Hotspot stop working, when i reboot and lose root hotspot works but after running kingroot and gettinf temp root back hotspot stps working its just crazy. i just wonder why no one is willing to help get root for LG G3 marshmallow. if it were samsung it would have happened.

waiting fot same, only kingroot works but its a temp root. Once you reboot you lose root. its enough for me right now. i rarely reboot my device.

Take a look at this page on this thread. The first two post on the page are what you need to root. I would have rooted mine but i await autorec for D852G marshmallow, all other versions are available. i believe your device version will be avaialble. So currently i am temp rooted with king root...
