Looks like even though I unlocked the bootloader on the T-Mobile variant it is just like the G6... I can also confirm that you can lock your bootloader again after performing the unlock and it gets rid of the data corruption screen at start-up. Here are some fastboot commands I tried to run...

Everyone keeps saying the tmobile variant has all of the fastboot commands disabled. Had anyone actually tested it? What commands can I run to verify if it does or doesn't work? I'm willing to put the work into it.

What does the service menu say about root checker now? Does it say disabled?

Sadly it did not make a difference. What I'm thinking we're going to have to do is dump out boot.img extract the ramdisk, make changes to the files we are referencing then repack the boot.img and flash it.

Something interesting I found in the service menu ( *#546368#*918# for t-mobile ) was under "SVC Menu" there is an "LG RCT" option. If you click it you can see a setting called "LG RCT Check" and it says "Enabled" but there doesn't seem to be a way to disable it...

I disagree that he was calling you a noob. He provided you with EXACTLY what you were asking for. I don't think it required an explanation to go with it. You could also use the Google clock app instead which I actually prefer...

I always put my zips on my SD card just in case something like this happens. Throw it on the SD card and give it another try. Can't hurt.

I had to open the PATCH folder in an incognito window for HD24 to show up. Hope that helps.

I've been having the same exact issues... Absolutely no GPS connection inside buildings/my house etc. AND innacurate Google Maps positioning/losing connection every 30-45 seconds. It is driving me insane... I just don't want to go through the hassle of un-rooting to return it...

Yes, that is for once you are rooted. I'm rooted and Android Pay still works for me.

In the original root thread at the bottom it explained how to fix it. I performed that change and used Android Pay yesterday!

I was touched by the 505 touch of death. My LG G4 is one of the first from T-Mobile(H811). It is a SN in the 505 range. Yesterday It turned itself off then came back up in a bootloop, then eventually turned itself back off. Now it wont even turn on at all. I've tried 3 different batteries...

So I was just using my phone when all of a sudden it turned off... It had about 70% battery life left. I tried to turn it back on with no avail... Pulled the battery and put it back in after a few seconds and was still unable to get it to turn on. So I have my spare battery that a popped in...

I just used my phone to format the SD card before I started using it. Haven't had any issues.

Just got approved for the Battery/SD Card today. I submitted on June 5th. No word on the 128gb card from T-Mobile yet, they just said it is still in a processing state.

I have the same issue, I got it home from buying it and thought I had somehow already scratched it... I've been kicking myself for a week now thinking how dumb I was. Time to take it back to tmobile today.

I would say to be safe flash both the rom and bootstack. It doesn't take but a few extra seconds to do. Just do a nandroid backup first.

If anyone is interested, here is a tip when using multi-window: To use all of your apps in the multi-window system, find “persist.splitwindow.support_all” in the build prop and set the value to “true”. This will allow you to use any application with the multi-window feature.

Haha no problem sir! I had the same issue and had to do some research. For anyone interested in removing Carrier IQ from this rom, just flash the CIQ_Delete.zip I attached to this post. I confirmed with multiple apps that it was removed after flashing this.

You don't have to click the widget, you can just go into your app drawer and open the app called "clock"

Well I don't have a car dock, so I ended up flashing the bamf rom back over it and that did not help.. Just ended up doing a factory reset and re-flashing the rom again.. thank you for your help guys

Right now tethering is free with the mobile hotspot until may. I don't know if the USB tethering built into the phone is free but I would assume that its until may also. Once we have root though we should be able to tether for free no matter what using third party apps. Sent from my ADR6400L...
