Okay. I dont mind flashing Magisk again but I dont want to have to manually restore all of my settings and texts manually.

I am getting a replacement LG G5. Can I use a full TWRP backup on my old LG G5 to restore all my system settings, magisk, and apps on my replacement LG G5? I don't know if certain data/system data is tied specifically to the old phone, which would cause issues by copying it to the new phone.

No. You need to downgrade to 20a to root. I recommend using LGUP and following the LGUP directions on the 20a thread.
