I unlocked my bootloader just fine.. **I obviously take 0 responsibility if your phone is bricked by doing this. You will lose all the data on your phone's internal SD card by doing this** 1. Enable Developer Options (tap build number 7 times) 2. Boot into fastboot a. Power device...

I just ran into this problem on a LS990 (Sprint LG G3) and your post gave me a lead on how to fix it. I didn't have a microsd reader handy so I used adb shell while in recovery and deleted the partition with fdisk 1. opens ADB adb shell 2. This shows you the partitions on your device so...

Post [Q] Would you recommend the G3?

I'd recommend it in a heartbeat. I took mine to RiotFest Chicago and finally got decent concert video at night with a phone. Every other phone I've had has been unable to do squat unless I was front row(and then the sound sucks). It also took really good pictures while I was there. It's a...

So, I just wanted to update this thread. Finally got it working after installing the latest superSU and busybox from TWRP. Then I used an Ubuntu 64 bit machine with 32 bit libraries installed and rumrunner 0.3.1. This time it finally went through without any issues and I'm S-OFF.

    Post [s-off] rumrunner s-off

It always seems to start that section before I can even get to change it to Disk Drive, so it starts, then you break the connection by making the switch, causing it to error out. I just tried unplugging device right after starting test 2 when it says "waiting for ADB" and then waiting for phone...

    Post [s-off] rumrunner s-off

What happens when you don't switch to disk drive? That typically breaks the usb connection for a split second and I know mine errors out right away when I do that every time. Take that suggestion with a grain of salt because I don't get much further than you in it :(

Post [Q] Typo While Updating TWRP - Stuck in Qualcomm HS-USB Mode

It wasn't supposed to be so much trouble :D In all seriousness though, the ROM I was on kept reporting there wasn't an update for TWRP(from within goomanager) and I knew that there was. So I went with the manual install method and made a typo. A very costly one.

Thread [Q] Typo While Updating TWRP - Stuck in Qualcomm HS-USB Mode

Alright, well I screwed up flashing the newer version of TWRP. Instead of running the command dd if=/sdcard/twrp.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p22 I ended up screwing it up and running dd if=/sdcard/twrp.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p2 I then entered the command correctly, rebooted my device. Now...

What do you mean? TWRP worked just fine for me(the latest version the KF Utility installs). I wiped cache, dalvik, factory reset, and system. Then I used the flash multiple zips feature to flash the rom and gapps back to back. All the GAPPS work fine here.
