I think people forget this is unreleased software and there are risks. It is not guaranteed to work. This comes with any software you do not get directly from the OEM.

I haven't had any major issues. The back gesture does not work so the gesture navigation is not quite ready. It is actually pretty smooth and fluent. The battery has lasted a whole shift worth of Netflix.

I didn't flash any of the other stuff. Only boot, system, and vendor. Not sure what causes the mismatch in names of the partitions.

Try manually flashing to partition _a or _b. Such as fastboot flash system_a system.img. I ran into the same issue and was able to flash everything to slot a manually by adding _a to the commands

My double tap to wake is working flawlessly.

It is all about user preference. I prefer the "bleeding edge" of software so I like t have my nightlies daily. I know there are otherswho prefer that too so that is why I share these builds.

I hae not had that issue with double tap to wake at all. I suppose I could set a PIN and keep trying to see if I can replicate it.

The Camera is odd. If you load camera from any other means other than the icon it takes pictures fine. Looking into it. **The issue appears to be with autofocus. As long as I didn't use autofocus it worked fine for me.

I was able to get this running. I can confirm that GPS works as well. Have not found any major bugs yet. Flashed on top of latest CM11 nightly. Best working CM 12 I have used thus far.
