I am using gee 3 rom since 15 days and battery life is normal as expected. Also UI is better than stock rom. Except there are some processes consuming battery else everything great.

Yes you can restore bootloader to original state. And also it is very simple to unlock bootloader just follow every steps. Also you can try custom Stock Rom.

CM Do not contain extensive graphics Compare to LG Stock Roms, CM does not have good UI. And battery consumption is more. I prefer stock roms.
