Post Brightness is too high when playing videos after Marshmallow update.

Is this a Nexus Player problem, or something with Marshmallow in general? There are reports of the Nexus 6p having the same problem, but I have yet to hear from other devices that have gotten the Marshmallow update.

Post [Q] usb otg in twrp recovery

I'm recently experiencing this issue myself. It came out of nowhere, as from the day I got it til maybe a month ago it was working perfectly fine. Upgraded to a newer version of TWRP, tried two usb sticks with OTG connectors using FAT32 and NTFS. Nothing is working.

Post Tylt Vu Qi Charger - 50% NOW thru Cyber Monday

I've been using the Vu for a year with my Nexus 7, and on the Nexus 6 since it came in the mail. I haven't had a single charging or overheating issue. Since the Vu is a dock instead of a puck, there's no extra step of lining up the phone if you place it in portrait mode.

    Post [Q] AT&T Random Reboot - Solution?

Mine was rebooting at least once a day. I noticed that it happened a couple times as I was lifting the phone, when ambient display would normally turn on, so I turned ambient display off. It's been almost two days now with no restarts. Give it a try and let me know if it works for you.

Post Quickcharge 2.0 and charge-only cables

Monoprice carries cables with 28/24AWG for data/power lines, but only with a bulky ferrite choke on them. Looks like most manufacturers don't list wire gauge for their products. I would like to find a nice 3FT cable with 22AWG copper wire for power, with low voltage drop.

Post Quickcharge 2.0 and charge-only cables

Thanks for the replies but I am talking about a non-standard cable., one that only supports charging, but I think I have an answer now. I asked a cable vendor, PortaPow, and their response is: "Quick Charge 2.0 requires a charger designed to Qualcomm's specs and a sync+charge cable. A charge...

Thread Quickcharge 2.0 and charge-only cables

Does Quickcharge 2.0 work with heavy duty charge-only cables, or is there a data component that is needed to get Quickcharge to work properly? I'm about to buy an Incipio Quickcharge 2.0 car charger which doesn't come with a cable, and I would like to get a fast charge cable like this one.

Post 90% off Xtreme Guard Screen Protectors

My tempered glass protector arrived broken in one corner, and the 2 plastic protectors I got with it have improper cutouts for the camera; none of them go to the edge of the screen Looks like a pretty half-assed job on the part of Xtremeguard. I'm trying to get a refund right now.

    Post Speaker Crackle/Rattle

I made a short recording to show what I mean. The sample is from plugging in my magnetic cable a couple of times. The charging sound is particularly annoying to hear crackling. I may have to send my unit back to Clove for warranty service. Bummer.

    Thread Speaker Crackle/Rattle

Has anyone observed speaker crackling above mid-volume? My top speaker has a buzzier character that gets more noticeable as you play louder and bassier/fuller sounds. I'm not sure if it's crackling or something rattling inside the case. The lower speaker sounds clear and normal.

    Post Unimpressive battery life.

Battery life hasn't blown me away either. It lasts all day but not much longer. Starting yesterday, my battery life estimate started getting worse. No apps are using unusual amounts of power. I hope things settle down and improve over the next few days. Update: It looks like the battery life...

Post Oh! I've dropped mine, only had the little bugger one day.

Keep in mind that the Z1C has a plastic back while the Z3C has glass on both sides, so the latter will have a much higher chance of the point of impact being glass.

    Post [Help Thread][Xperia Z3 Compact]Ask any questions

I assume, from reading threads on the Z1/Z2 models, that we will have to wait for a way to root without unlocking the bootloader before we are able to back up the TA partition, right? I would like not to lose the extra functionality, particularly for the camera, that the TA partition reportedly...

Ah, my brain skipped over that for some reason, sorry! I noticed in the pictures and video that the pads don't seem to cover the entire inside. The corners are exposed, and I am worried about the phone contacting the unpadded parts when dropped. Also, it looks like the rear shots of the case...
