Thread [Q] Stuck on Verizon boot screen after OTA (Just purchased phone)

So I just picked up this phone from the store about an hour ago and after I got home I received one update, everything went well and the phone booted up just fine. Just a few minutes after booting up I received another notification for a firmware update (128mb or close to that size), after the...

There is no 4.4 build for Tmobile yet but I belive StarFighter is working on this. Buuuuut we have a recognized dev here who just got the G2 rohan32 who will be working on an AOKP build and it will be 4.4. I will say this though. Tmobile has the least development for the G2 at the time of this...

If your on the stock ROM and rooted and have custom recovery installed you will absolutely brick your device. This happened to quite a few people here including myself and it took about a day for the devs to get our devices fixed when the first OTA rolled out. So yes freeze it. if your on a...

    Post Getting low benchmark scores.

A bounty for AOKP recently reached its goal and is going to be in development very shortly. Keep your eyes open AOKP Roms usually always bench better than CM. Its a great performance ROM with way more features than CM. Keep an eye on the original android thread. Developers name is rohan.

I am really thinking of flashing this, Ive been on Malladus for the life of this device since it was created. Just so I understand this, this rom is a CM rom WITH the LG apps baked into it? Sorry Its just I kinda pee'd on myself when I read this and I wont be able to flash this till I get home.

I see your using Utorrent you pirate! JK It looks as if your phone has some life left, not really too familiar with D800. Have You tried the key combo to get into TWRP? Does the D800 have download mode? Also did you by chance flash the wrong rom (different carrier)? Did you wipe the internal...

    Post Getting low benchmark scores.

All the AOSP roms that dont have major bugs are all performing very well. They just dont score well, its not at all indicative of the hardware, its the Rom. One thing that is worth mentioning here is that Verizon actually beat all carriers to the first kit kat update (Moto X) that is scheduled for OTA today. exactly. the sensor in very sensitive to being covered. Because its hypersensitive and having undesireable effects I would consider this a bug since it is buggy.

Post KitKat Roms for Verizon Variant?

Development has been at a stand still since 4.4 was announced and thats a good thing, it means 4.4 roms are on the way for the G2. This always happens when there is a new version of android on the way and the fact that we have seen very little activity lately is a positive sign :good:

Post VERIZON G2 - Are Custom Kernels a GO?

I think people are forgetting that we have 7 variants of the G2 and because of that the dev support is pretty fragmented. One carrier has 3 roms another carrier thread has 12 roms. Its really more of a hit and miss. The dev support is not lacking in the least bit, at all. Its just the G2 has way...

No that's okay, I'd rather ask here since we are on this topic and and discussion. Post [Q] Screen shuts off trying to unlock

I know it's been said many times but if you block the sensors with your fingers after waking the device, your screen will turn back off. Its a security feature/bug and I would assume this is what's happening here.

The LG sources have been out for well over a month now, this isnt an issue, where the issue is is that there are several variants, off the top of my head I believe there are 7. 7! So yeah development is fragmented because of this. Also there are 3 camera Mods that take care of any issues you...

Jake it would be great if we could have 2 options. Lots of user are coming back to malladus from AOSP for one reason or another and I think stock Rom is the main reason. The LG UI is awesome and the stock experience is a breath of fresh air compared to AOSP. I personally wouldn't want it any...
