Yes, i know that without a notification the app can be killed by the android app manager... But seems like every app wants to add a notification for that purpose... it's getting cluttered in there.... Does anyone know if blocking a notification keeps the app active?

While the Nexus 4 Hardware can handle it. 4.1.2 for the Nexus S made it a little less snappy, that's why it was the latest update for the Nexus S.

I don't like the idea of the phone being in the pocket, and turning itself on because of pressure touches in the screen... Also keeping the phone always 'listening' for touches will fore sure take a toll on the battery.

Wifi turns off because its a option. Check wifi preferences (some menu in there) and choose always on. JB can turn the notification off... but i don't know if the process dies to...

Is the cell towers the only way to reference the location? So it won't work on a wi-fi only device? Can't you use 'coarse-location'? I think it's less aggressive than a full gps point? I can translate to Portuguese if you want! PS: oohh Coarse is network based :P

Check the manage applications it should still be there, then, just enable it Settings -> Apps -> All -> Gmail -> Enable

Do you reboot that often... that this is a problem? I don't know how much time mine takes to boot... I don't remember the last time I've rebooted it ... That's why changing boot animations, for me, is stupid... you only get to see them once in 6 months(worst case scenario)?!

Nop, It's running super fast here. Browser experience is best ever!! Changing tabs is fast and very cool with the zooming animations :) I say overall, it's feeling even faster than gingerbread. Even with the battery issues, I'm not downgrading.

Well... The anti-virus thinks CM site is "malicious"... If you think about it ... It is! It could erase your entire phone data, overwrite your phone's ROM with another one. The information/files on that site are "malicious", thus the anti-virus is correct, and you should stay away from that...

You have two serious problems... 1 - You're using Internet Explorer (don't) 2 - You should disable your anti-virus web thingy, if he's gonna give false positives, better off anyways. PS: I use Ubuntu Linux, so I don't use any of the above.
