No, Galaxyfreack needs to compile it , that Updater is for OTA Update, for the devices that have Official Support from Cyanogenmod

If u did all of this and didn't work, you probably have a D2403 with GPIO problem. There is a lib file to remove to workaround this, but somethings don't work if u do this (Sorry for bad english)

The only issue with brightness is if u restart many times auto brightness stops working, but if u shut down and reboot again it starts working again, and camera is normal here.

Or you can just use an app (DPI Changer, Textdroid, but if use downsize it to =/= 160, 240, etc(xdpi,etc) the launcher may look wierd, and u have to use App Settings to fix this.
