Don't worry too much about this matter. The difference in performance is marginal. If you switch to a new ROM and have to format /data anyway just go for it. Otherwise forget about it and sleep well, you haven't missed out anything major in life ;) If you want to dive deeper into it...

Just format /data to f2fs. Performance will be boosted right after but maybe you'll not really notice the difference as it is not so big ;) But it's stable for everyday use.

Have you tried to switch of the Google assistant which might block the mic?

Flashed latest version with Pie blobs and using the modified firmware with 5.0.8 bootloader. Seems like it's working good but after booting with WiFi on the mobile connections do not come up automatically. When disabling WiFi I first need to go to flight mode and back to get telephone and data...

Had the same problems as my router was configured for fix channel 100. Once I set back to auto it worked again. It's a pity as the chosen channel is not free as 100 was, but at least it found some channel to work on. I think xyyx said he changed something within the country settings of the wi-fi...

Running stable and fast here on nitrogen. I'll monitor idle drain for some days and report back.

After another 24 hours my conclusion is, Mad kernel doesn't like LKT. Without LKT battery performance is better. I'll keep this setup now as my daily driver.

Ok, probably I should test again without LKT.

After using 2 days I must admit battery consumption is a bit on the high side for my use. HDK seems to be more efficient as it feels equally fast. I'm using it together with the LKT magisk mod.

Have you tried setting other I/O schedulers? I could improve performance by setting it to Zen with readahead of 2048 bytes.

Strange behaviour. Is there a method to stop the setup assistant somehow? It keeps popping up and want's to set-up my phone again and again :(

I have a different issue. Can someone please test to switch on WiFi hotspot with WiFi off. When I did this today it worked for a while but then phone crashed and after reboot it wants to set up the phone from start like installed freshly. It asks for WiFi password even if it's connected to it...

Strange...did a clean re-install and 5GHz still gone. Re-installed latest Firmware for 3T...still gone. Correction: I found the problem. My WiFi router was set to channel 100 on 5GHz. Setting it to auto made it work again. Did you change any country specific setting's regarding WiFi?

Nitrogen works great. Especially in combination with LKT kernel tweaks magisk module.

I'm just loving LKT. It gives me 8-9 hours SOT with holy dragon. Just wanted to test it's effects on Mady Kernel but it seems to be not working well together.

Using it on nitrogen. Yes, phone was charging. Once after unplugging it seemed to go down in frequency I rebooted and re-activated lkt. Probably it didn't like it. Does that mean no other kernel mods at all or only during installation?

I don't know what this kernel is doing. I uninstalled all kernel apps. Cleared cache etc. before installing. But it keeps roasting my phone. I left it sit for an hour and still the small cores on my OP3t at running on full speed.

Maybe you should test Blokada for blocking Ad services to download **** all the time in the background.

Just read back a few pages. This issue is fixable very easy.

Seems to have incompatibilities with Swift installer. Did suffer from system ui crashes after updating.

I'm seeing something similar. When the phone was sleeping well for some time and I unlock it especially app start is pretty slow compared to when the phone is awake for some time. I'd say this period lasts about 10sec until it normalises.
