Actually I have been noticing good amount of lag in recent build myself without any settings in kernel auditor.. I just changed io scheduler to sio and read ahead to 256... Will try to undo those settings and see if it makes any difference

I have noticed that since couple of last releases has a behaviour about minimum frequency fluctuating constantly... I observed this in kernel auditor (without any settings active).. Is this expected behavior?

After upgrading to latest one, I received a call and the phone was just ringing without turning on the display.. Even power button was not helpful so I had to force reboot the phone.. Haven't changed anything in tweaks or settings apart from the kernel. Is anybody having similar problem?

Yeah.. 1-2%gain won't be noticeable in real life anyways. Some toolchain may produce somewhat better compilation for part of code.

GPU is idling at 19MHz. Is this expected ? I think this is causing lags (on my phone atleast).. Can someone confirm this on their device ?

Intelliactive keeps all the cores at max frequency. Is this a known issue? This doesn't happen with any other governor.

How do you check the performance? I mean just raw benchmarks or real life performance for multitasking, loading apps and stuff. I think everybody is interested in fetching that extra drop of juice from the phone :D

Like you do on previous versions. Flash custom recovery and then flash supersu zip. Worked for me.

Is it same firmware as that of soak?

If you have stock firmware you can just extract recovery.img from it and flash it via fastboot. Before that you may want to get rid of root and other modifications

It shouldn't be at every boot and should be only for just first time.

You won't be able to update on rooted device.. Either unroot it first and then install or if you have made any changes in system partition, you will have to do a clean install to update this

Guys do provide some initial reviews so that other people can make decision of updating.. I am just waiting to get my wifi setup in my new location

This mod works good.. You can implement hiding the app icon from launcher as once anyone changes the settings, it's not much to change many times unless there is a new functionality which will be visible in the changelog.

I belive there is a app just to switch the mode of SELinux on any kernel.. I won't mind a reboot just to get it working on kernel of my choice.

Hiding the module from launcher would be nice thing to add if you get some time.

Better way of doing this. Install Network app from play store and drag a shortcut on homescreen. Done.

I had similar issue. What worked for me was to change the SELinux policy as suggested in this post and then flashing LolliViPER_v2.3.3.0.zip from the below link.. Viper4Android Do remove the drivers and application before flashing the zip..

I faced this issue some time back.. I had to root my device and use AppOps to disable wake ups from Google play services..

On Un rooted the only option you can try is 1. Disconnect Internet 2. Uninstall Google play services update 3. Clear cache via recovery 4. Connect to Internet and use your phone normally.. Let Google play services update automatically.. This might help

If you are rooted, it is always best to edit build.prop so you can use latest camera app with timely updates from play store..

I think you will need to disconnect the phone before opening that log file.. if not logcat might still want to throw contents in it continuously.. Also it will be good to include a link to guide to setup of adb for Moto G to avoid users coming with any queries related with it.
