    @thugnigga Thanks. I changed my ROM to the European one ONLY because my WiFi broke after the 2.1 update1 OTA. Not my fault really what with all these faulty updates. And now they are trying to lock out regional updates for unbranded phones using cid! This is not what I expect from HTC. Luckily...

    It sure does make a difference where you bought the phone. Refer http://zubu.ca/legend/fota_check.php I bought mine unbranded in India, I switched to the European ROM and though I can download the Froyo OTA, I get the Red Triangle during install!

    I didn't follow the entire thread, but did you compare the cidnum on 'android-info.txt' on the rom.zip and firmware.zip?

    ^^ Indian users, I doubt it will be available for our Indian ROMs immediately. I guess you guys need to downgrade to 1.32, upgrade all the way to the european ROM 2.05.405.2 and get the update. Cos I had done that and have 2.05.405.2 and Froyo OTA is available now. Though, I need to get back...

    @latorante, Oh! I still love the looks of the Legend. Nexus S looks ugly to me! Might be a bit careless on HTC's part, but I still love them 'cos you pay mainly for the hardware. Software can always be tweaked to your liking. At least this is how I see it.

    For some reason, I'm unable to receive the OTA update1. Im currently on the stock 1.32.720.1. Shipped ROMs also doesn't have this update. Can anyone help me?

    Thread Ungrounded Screen Issue

    Is anyone facing the ungrounded screen issue on their Legend? For the uninitiated, just check youtube for 'ungrounded screen' (I'm new here. Unable to post links) Repeating the same test myself, my screen isn't as responsive as it normally is though, not as bad as that video.
