Which could be the reason for the SIM problems : if it is not set correctly it can't communicate proper with the mobile , that's why it asks for searching for contacts ( I had a similar problem a few months ago )

Just to know - whenever you get the exclamation mark trying to get to recovery mode just hold volume up an push power button . This will get you to the recovery . Chose " Apply sdcard : update.zip " from the menu and you are done :) But you have to put a proper update.zip on the root of your...

Just counting posts For QkSi1ver : I use "Tit..Backup and root " and I'm pleased with it It can backup and restore " ... Whole app + data ..." However u have to setup something like Google account and other manually ant to install TitBackup manually as well . Be sure whenever backup or restore...
