    I have bootloops on first boot too :( Just on a little latter stage of booting : it gets the logo and the " quietly brilliant " and then it restarts

    HBOOT 1.01 S-ON Did not noticed that on beta4 has /data Install and boot without problems :) EDIT : And no reboot on wifi connecting Just whenever mounting the SDcard with Sync menu it stays on logo screen and phone is unusable

    Which could be the reason for the SIM problems : if it is not set correctly it can't communicate proper with the mobile , that's why it asks for searching for contacts ( I had a similar problem a few months ago )

    Twice testing without these apps (deleted) and it bootloops , but if they persist on the /system - it's O'k May be my " stupid system " just needs them

    Firstly I deleted them from the ROM but the bootloops were back :( Latter just moved to /system/app and all was fine

    Your feeling is right :) After many variants of fixing the bootloops I just moved these apps from /data/app to system/app ( I'm guessing deleting them at all will work fine as well ) this problem was fixed . Had some conversations ( it is almost midnight here ) and had no disconnecting :) Now...

    Right Until you update to an uprooted ROM you should be able to access CWM recovery :) An advice : use BlaY0's fake flash if you are S-on . It is smoother and easy to use Sent from my HTC Legend using XDA Premium App

    Just counting posts For QkSi1ver : I use "Tit..Backup and root " and I'm pleased with it It can backup and restore " ... Whole app + data ..." However u have to setup something like Google account and other manually ant to install TitBackup manually as well . Be sure whenever backup or restore...

    No Thanks BTW there is an 2.2.1 ( at least for Desire ) which should be before any Gingerbread . It or SMTH next will fix any " security hole ":(
