nbetcher kernel was originally made for the Esspresso (3G Slide) and Sense 2.1. It was/is also used in ogo2's ROM. It probably wont work, and even if it does whats the point? Wireless and BT still wont work.

Sorry, I don't own the Legend anymore. This ROM stays as it is. But you can mod it anyway you like and post it anywhere you want.

Use hack4legend from this thread. Then downgrade to an older RUU and install all updates via OTA. You'll get back to HBOOT 1.01 and an untouched bootloader.

So Endymion will be my furst try ;) One question - is this normal on the Desire S, that you need to flash boot.img manualy on every ROM when unlocked via HTCdev?

Not true. You can downgrade to1.01 without any trouble. Just use the hack4legend to change the misc version and downgrade all the way to Eclair. After that just download OTAs up to the latest Froyo and your perfectly stock with S-ON, HBOOT 1.01 and no signs of you unlocking anything. Wysyłane...

On the Legend I've used my own ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1503972 I'm still on stock on the Desire S. Don't have much time atm to test all the stuff in the development section. Waaay to much :P

I think ROM Manager is still using the fakeflash method. You need to flash the recovery via fastboot: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1290841

Use A2SD. Its included in this ROM for a reason. If you don't need some of the apps remove them yourself.

There isn't one. But there's a Hero S, which is a disgrace to the series imo.

If you're not S-OFF or unlocked it will. Just like any app trying to write something to /system.

Just make a nandroid backup, flash the ruu, flash hboot, unlock youre phone, flash recovery and restore backup. Simple as that.

You're completely wrong. For example: busybox = /system/xbin hosts files are stored in /system/etc/hosts Even ES can write to system.

I still says S-ON but you can do anything that requires r/w permission on /system. Tested with SU update, BusyBox installation, host write with AdAway.

Finally... Gonna unlock it right away. This requires an update to 3.15.405.6 and than hboot_1.02.0000. Gonna report results later.
