Thread [ANDROID 4.03+][APP]Dash Home [1.8.1.693] -- Car front end home screen (s100/s150)

MwTTFdqWoZE Dash Home on the Play Store Hi, This is the app I am using with my car's android based radio to give it a custom touch and save my sanity trying to do anything while driving. The hardware and OS are rather limited in the device, so my app goes into retro land to get some...

Dash Home I created an app for the s100/s150 called Dash Home, it's on the play store if anyone is interested. It's a front end for the android home screen, gives you a wince kind of interface but on Android. Updated version 1.0.1.200 Update: Added 3D stuff. See this xda thread to avoid...

Can't really add much as I don't have an aux 2 set up, and it sounds like you have tested things. Going to grey is odd, it's like it is ntsc vs pal. Stripes sounds like a loss of sync altogether. If you had a scope you could probably see what is going on, some attenuation causing it to fall...

Post S150 - Android head unit

Hi, Do you have the camera powered from the unit or via the backup lamp? If you have the former connection, the unit decides when the camera is on, (it could be always on for all I know, or on/off with the unit) if the latter, it turns on only with the lamp. There is bound to be latency due to...

I was looking into trying to figure that out as well, I am not sure what the ADset.xml id and derived id are for and if they are supposed to match winca=X in the configs. There must be some baked in defaults when nothing is found. . On the device file system there is a /bootlogo/config folder...

Hi, If anyone is using the back up wire on the unit with a KIA soul 2010 and the power and video connector with a backup camera, the wire is available under the driver kick panel / driver step trim and it's grey. Hi, Yes, a few times now. I reverted back to 2.4 and sygic works again and the audio glow live wallpaper, but maps live wallpaper still won't work, no biggy. At one point I did have the radio just changing stations rather than seeking, but I can't get back to that point, perhaps it is the...

Hi, I am having issues with sygic gps with the new update (2.5), it installs, loads the maps, then says unfortunately it has stopped, this also applies to audio glow live wallpaper and live wallpaper for maps. Special = "2" does nothing for me for fixing the tuner button, still seeks...

    Thread Miracast Compatible Kernels?

Post [HOWTO][INFO] Update the kernel zImage in boot.img

That would be whatever kernel image you wanted to replace your existing kernel with. As the ones around are in zip files with prepackaged boot.img files you would have to unzip and extract to get just the kernel part. Also, you would need any dependent libs copied over to /system/lib/[modules]...

Thread [HOWTO][INFO] Update the kernel zImage in boot.img

Hi, There seems to me to be the general idea that swapping kernels is just flashing a different boot.img, however, what seems to never be mentioned is that each boot.img has a unique ram disk or included set of files/folder structure. This ram disk was designed to work with a specific version...

Post Showing Bell as provider but with Virgin

Your custom firmware doesn't list the word virgin because the same network is shared by both. What this means is that the two identifier numbers coming from the network (mcc 610 and mnc 610) are compared with apns.conf on the phone itself (these files differ in each firmware) and whatever...

DLNA, phone typing sucks, autocorrect. :) The service is running, there is no app to set it up, yet I see 3%, 4% for that and webtop. If webtop is going to remain useless with the lapdock, it should be shelved, or made an optional install or a disable switch, IMO. As for the comment about...

Post [ROM] "Somebody's" CM10 with "those libs" PAUSED

Hi, Please emphasize that the script needs YOUR complete /proc.cmdline in there, from a working phone adb session, not recovery adb session as the recovery has it's own possible /proc/cmdline via a different kernel, etc. You are not just editing the mem=?? stuff. Post Can we implement Webtop 3 on the Atrix 4G?

Thoughts: 1. Connect to adb in network mode as you connect / reconnect the lapdock. 2. adb logcat 3. write an app that detects screen on or some other global event and see if there is a resolution passed to it or use adb shell to launch intents for some apps. What is the resolution being passed...

Idea for those with tegrapart issues: When you have a working phone install, copy /proc/cmdline and use that with the ramfix binary, instead of just adding a [email protected] line, embed the complete working cmd line. See Ramfix thread for details on the binary used. Cheers!
