I tried to replace the battery images on SystemUI.apk of V5 but the operation fails with 7-Zip. There are four "unsupported compression method" errors which probably cause this. Is the file corrupted, this used to succeed with earlier versions? Cannot decompile/compile with APK manager either.

Maybe you have installed it in a way that no symbolic links to commands have not been created? Does "/system/xbin/busybox cp" work?

I have deodexed rom but kitchen should work with odexed roms also. Default options are fine - you can't flash the zip anyway. Get the apks from the generated UOT zip and copy them to your phone (for example with adb).

When you enter the 'su' command first time via adb shell, you have to check the phone screen - the Superuser app is requesting permission for the command (and you'll have to grant it of course to continue).

Works fine with SGS+.

You need to execute these commands first as adviced: su stop mount -o remount rw /system

Locate your adb.exe (you did install Android SDK didn't you) and add it to your PATH (or execute <install dir>\abd.exe).

The guide for deodexing SGSII (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1113937) works also for SGS+ (rooted of course). I used xUltimate version v.2.3.1 for successful deodexing of rooted I9001XXKP4 ROM. :)

Font name select lists are empty both for Header and Footer on Status bar mod tab in kitchen (and it's not a browser issue).

Two tries this morning with SHTF error: UOT-08-07-08-53-2 and UOT-08-07-09-52-7. The phone is HTC Legend and the ROM is NewSense 1.0 RC3. Worked fine with the same resource files on 4th of August. Edit: Succeeded now! :)
