I would go with the Legend or the Nexus One.

The answers say it all: if you want something that just works and you don't care how, go with iOS. If you want to have a say in how it works, and be able to personalize it, go with Android.

I think that the design of this part is the worst about the legend. On mine I have experienced that the grip is weaker and weaker, and now comes off quite easily (unintended).
