Turns out, I believe the first time I flashed 4.0, I chose Apex in Aroma and didn't have the stock launcher checkboxed, so that's probably why it was failing for me. This time round, I just installed the new launcher, working flawlessly.

Warning to users of this rom: don't try to switch to the JB4.2 Launcher in the settings under "Launchers". This boot-looped my device, and I'm in the process of getting it fixed. By the way, this rom (before it screwed up) is the BOMB! It's so fast it's sick.

It didn't remove the stock messaging app, it just wasn't capable of pulling in any messages in any app I tried. I'm back on Ice Ice Baby, after failing to restore back to 2.0 via flash...

I don't see an option to download Superuser from Rom Manager. Where is it? Would uninstalling and reinstalling the Superuser app on my phone from the Play Store have the same effect?

While admittedly interesting and dark, it's not my choice for a default theme; I agree that's it's slightly disorienting at times. Though maybe welcoming wasn't what they were going for when they decided on it.

I think I had a similar problem once. Boot back into your hboot screen. Then select "factory reset". If you have a 3rd party recovery installed, like it sound like you have (4ext, right?), it will boot you to recovery so you can administer the reset yourself (it doesn't actually wipe anything...

Nope not yet. Though like some others mentioned, brightness is better adjusted from the quick settings anyways, and they gave us hardware volume keys for a reason (bug fixes, of course, are welcome though).

Been running Santod's NuSenseX for the past 12 hours. Very bloated and laggy unfortunately. I'd restore my Ice Ice Baby nandroid in a flash (no pun intented) if it wasn't for my current access to a sliding brightness bar on this rom. too valuable

You know what, now that I think of it, I haven't had the aosp mod applied for a while, and I've got OTA notifications all the way thru . 15 without a hitch, so in my experience, you don't need the aosp mod to pull down the OTA updates.

Thanks for that audio removal mod. So after the brightness slider notification bar and volume wake, another super useful tweak is a reboot to recovery option when holding power. That way I don't have to hold voldown+pwr and go through the fastboot (or hboot, or whatever that's called) screen...

I think mine's labeled as "VzWBAClient.apk" in the same location. Can't find the one you named. Probably cause I just flashed .14, which took yours away. But sounds like he found what he was looking for.

Got the notification, just updated. The one thing I've noticed wrong is backup assistant is not gone like it's supposed to be. I kind of like the sense signal bars, always been much more accurate than aosp for me on any rom.

My wifi works just fine.

Thanks guys, wasn't holding it long enough, rookie mistake. Camera works now. It must have been by the aosp to sense switch that fixed it. Bluetooth and gps work great for me.

May i ask how you took these? Pwr+vol down hasn't worked for me.

I'd recommend editing your OP so that you mention not to use CWM and change it to a recovery you support, currently it says use the recovery of your choice. What recovery do you personally recommend?
