I am using this kernel and I'm having 4hrs sot mainly on 4G. that's considered little? I don't game on mobile though just browsing and WhatsApp.

I had this weird bug, turned on battery saver mode manually, restarted phone and when the phone booted up into android the system UI kept crashing, and therefore no notification bar nor navigation bar. only way to fix it was to switch off power saver. not a big deal, but it did scare me a bit...

when you wipe using "factory reset" option within twrp, it will not wipe "internal storage", which is where your photos and videos are stored. only system, cache, delvik and data need to be wiped for a clean install. however you do lose data such as your game progress or app settings, so...

IIRC, isn't it unsafe to flash bootloader through recovery? hence people don't do it?

I had that problem before too and it took ages, I was inpatient and force turned off my device and it sort of turned it into bootloop, had to redo the whole flashing again although I never wiped data so everything was still there, and later I realised somehow it does take a while longer to clear...

everyone kinda knows flashing between different roms requires wipe, or best to have it wiped for better results.. and upgrading from a previous version don't require wipe unless a big updated etc. also, this is a development forum not "novice please come and try things that may f up your phone...

I managed to unlock bootloader and flashed CWM, flashed Core and Option Ir8 but got stuck on the samsung start animation for ages... (15mins+) the files MD5 were verified and I have flashed it several times using CWM now... still stuck on startup animation.... someone knows what's going on?
