Looks like this page is the answer to the auto brightness levels, if you can program these values into your rom that hopefully would solve the problem:

I started with the default keyboard, before i had reinstalled all my apps, for such a small text area I feel those arrows get in the way, is there actually a command or patch to disable them?
I use the Swype keyboard, and the odd time need to double tap a word to change it or to add it to the dictionary, i keep pressing the arrow instead by accident, the arrows weren't part of the stock legend software, any chance they could be removed or at least an option to disable them?
WIFI yes, I haven't had a chance to test the GPS, when the next release comes out ill try using the google navigation and see what happens.

Oh another tiny little thing that was bugging me, when i am...
Ah ok if number 2 is just a launcher issue then as you said maybe a different launcher will fix that.
Thats leaves 2 bugs, not bad for a first release :)
The vibrate issue is the main one for me really, i tried loads of different configurations and the phone just won't vibrate when i've a new...
Ok, I'm going to go back to stock for the moment, ill try out your next version when you have it ready, thanks for all your continued work to keep the Legend up to date!
Hi, so far this is my feedback.
1. Can't get the phone to vibrate for messages/calls no matter which setting I pick.
2. Message icon on homescreen not highlighting with new message, the status bar will show I've a new message but neither the message icon at the bottom of the screen nor...
I flashed it, no problems with the install, however the google apps zip doesn't seem to have gmail or maps in it, do we get them separately from the market?
I won't be able to test it right away (in work), but can you put some screenshots up and maybe a list of the features you've included that make it different from the regular cm 7.1?
Can someone tell me, there was an issue to do with the legend and cyanogenmod, something to do with the battery charged green/ battery charging orange light not working as expected, is this still an issue in cm 7.1 or was it finally fixed?
Hi ogo2,
Can you update this ROM to fix the battery drain from the dialer after a call has been made.
Apparently this is the solution:
removed "#" from "gsm.proximity.enable=false" line in build.prop (Fix Dialer battery drain issue)
Alsp could you update this rom to the latest version...
Cool, a suggestion I think would be keeping it basic at first, I've seen a lot of roms for phones where devs have put a load of random customizations in, users asking for support on them, bugs appearing on these customizations and all while this distracts the dev from completing things like wifi...
Once you've unlocked the Legend download and run the HTC Supertool V3 from your machine, select option 1 then option 3 and you'll be permanently rooted, then you can install rom manager and deploy whatever rom you want.
Once the update is installed and the bootloader has been unlocked (finish the steps on the htc dev site), run the "HTC Super tool v3" from you pc, select step 1, then step 3.
Ah ok, I see that the Bootloader unlock is software version 3.15.405.5, security update is 3.15.405.6, does that make a difference or is it purely the radio that matters?
Do you plan on doing it on yours?
I noticed that there is also a wifi security update out for the legend too,
The bootloader unlock is 3.15.405.5, and the wifi fix is 3.15.405.6, so I guess it has to be in that order or the bootloader unlock wont run.
Hello,
I see the Legend has now been added to the HTC Dev site, so we should be able to unlock our bootloaders.
I am wondering if anyone has tried this and will we still be able to root our phones with the updated software version required for the bootload unlock?
Hi,
Can this update be rooted?
I currently run stock 2.2, only mod was that it was pre-rooted by someone here on XDA, no other modifications, can the same be done for this install file?
Seems to be a common Gingerbread issue
It has been reported in a different section of this site
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1069251
and others on the web that the Gingerbread dialer seems to take a huge chunk of battery power after the first phone call.
I myself was on...
I was just wondering if it was possible there was a link between those occurances.
I restored the phone from a backup this afternoon because after that initial reboot the phone then began rebooting everytime i toggled wifi on or off, since I've had no reboots until today it was the only other...
Reboot
ogo2,
Had my very first reboot ever after turning on my wifi, when the phone came back on it said my busybox su# was out of date, when it checked it said
it was up to date, make any sense to you?
Would that have caused the reboot, I know that your rom says it occasionally random...
Hi ogo2,
Great Instructions thanks, I am now using my preferred lockscreen and the boot animation is back to stock default.
Do you have similar instructions regarding the CRT On/Off animation?
Mods
ogo2,
Could you provide the file and tell me exactly where to put it, I have tried before using root explorer and it always says theres not enough room when i try to paste things in.
I love the improvements to the phone but im really not a fan of having to put a green phone icon into a...
Mods
ogo2,
Love the progress on the rom.
I would like to make a few changes to mine though.
If I want to restore the original lockscreen, boot animation and remove the CRT on/off animation how do I do it?
Hi ogo2,
Has there been any progress on fixing/stabilizing the bluetooth, we still cant send files directly from a laptop to the phone as it just wont connect.
Also a small little bug I've noticed, I use the Direct Message shortcut so I can one tap a message to a particular contact, however on...
