It might be strange but yes :) I can. We don't have too many open Wifi Hotspots in Germany and my internet connection at home (DSL2000, yes I know duh) is slower then HSDPA (3.6MBit here) which I have almost everywhere. So if it has to be, I can easily live without it :)

Which directories are affected by data2ext on the sd card? I wouldn't mind regular backups of the important folders to prevent the worst case that everything is lost. Until a safer solution is found a simple script to copy the affected files to my HD once in a while would be enough for me.

Tried it aswell now. Had the same problem, beeing stuck at boot screen. Pulled the battery and the next boot went through. I don't know how to check if everything is working correctly since I never used app2sd. Noob right here :D I have a bunch of files on my SD's ext partition now so I guess...

Agreed. 19.2 is horrible. I had a 19.2/19.2 screen off profile for some minutes just to realize that the time it takes the phone to run smooth after turning the display on again is pretty close to a reboot.

Very well, indeed. I had similar problems with Desktop Visualizer and Launcher Pro for example. Having too many custom shortcuts and size-heavy images on the home screens caused my phone to slow down to a an unpleasent extent.

Why would you update to 2.03 instead of Froyo if your phone is already rooted? Check the Development section. There are several rooted Froyo ROMs out and you can still revert if you don't like it.

The apk is deodexed. As for the permissions. No clue how to set them right :D Had to read up an hour last night just to learn enough to extract it. Big newbie here hehe. Guess I'll check some threads about sysfs permissions and try it again later.
