    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][Peregrine][7.X] LineageOS 14.1

And the zips to add/remove root are also there now in the extras section. Though I saw in the falcon section that SuperSU works fine. Now let's see how this experimental build works out for a cm 13.0 update :)

    Post XCEED :: [KERNEL] :: [AOSP/Stock/PureNexus] :: [v9.xx / Android 7.1.2]

Bootloops with v8.00 I wanted to try your NPD35K kernel, but my pixel C only gets to the Google logo for a short while before rebooting again and again. And adb does not have time to see the device, so no logcat :/ I tried installing it by rebooting to fastboot and flashing it with "fastboot...

Post [ROM][6.0][Read OP!]Official nightly Cyanogenmod 13 for Peregrine

I was still on (modified, rooted) stock, but seeing the security update notification, I preferred to take the longer way and try CM13 instead. Nice work, thanks to all the usual suspects here! Everything works fine so far, after a fast install/wipe, titanium restore and few configuration tweaks...

    Post [ROM][LP 5.1.1_r24] [ KatKiss - Lollipop #030c ] [MultiWindow]

Now that our resident magician has fixed bluetooth, and brought 5.1 at the same time, it was finally time to upgrade/reinstall from 4.4.4 (katkiss-036) :) This new ROM works great, except for 2 points (1 nitpick, and 1 more blocking for work): * the caps lock on the dock works, but the led does...

Post [KERNEL]{S} Advanced Stock ICS Kernel Build 17 [08/12/12]

The auto-rooting helped a lot after flashing my ICS FTF, but I usually run SuperSU now (instead of Superuser installed by auto-rooting). Right now, if I remove the Superuser.apk, it will reappear on reboot, is it possible to modify the autoroot test to handle SuperSU? (like only checking su...

    Post [ROM] Revolver 4 by Gnufabio | 4.2.1 - IC421(G) | Sep 5 | TF101-TF101G-SL101 | Fast

Let's hope Asus finally fixed reboots in 9.2.1.21, so we can have a great Revolver4 rom :) (and stock browser has "always request desktop site" option back yay!)

Post [MOD] Quickpanel 14 Widget Status bar Inc Swipe Notification

Thanks for your work on this! Well for zip updates, I guess people modding their phones have a good chance to run a recovery (and for now that mostly means DoomKernel), when they're not trying custom kernels ;) Additionally, it's easy to unzip the update file and get the apk/framework...

Post [MOD] Swipe to remove notifications and quick toggle

Thanks for the update! Both the QuickPanel status bar and swipe to remove work fine (.73 FR, using the .67 framework.jar does not seem to have any impact)

    Post [XS][LT26] Firmware Compilation

You're welcome ;) I used the one from our friendly OP, in this other thread. @Yakandu, it may be worth moving it to this thread to keep everything centralized? I skipped the system/etc/*/applications to stay close to the original image (I remove these with a titanium batch after first boost)

    Post [XS][LT26] Firmware Compilation

Thanks for the FTF :) I made a preroot img, here you go: http://depositfiles.com/files/x5251w1bg EDIT: this img also includes the Quickpanel status bar from OptimalKiller

    Post [ROOT][6.0.A.3.73][LT26] Xperia S (2.3.7) - (1257-6921) SG Generic - Updated[10.4.12]

Nice, as long as it is not my phone playing dirty tricks on me, it's not a problem :) There is more than enough room left for some time (especially after cleaning some bloatware)

    Post [ROOT][6.0.A.3.73][LT26] Xperia S (2.3.7) - (1257-6921) SG Generic - Updated[10.4.12]

Coming from rooted .67, I flashed the full ftf (keeping user data), then this rooted image. So far, so good, the battery use is definitely lower than .67 I still have a 700MB-something /system though, even after private data reset. Also I miss the national roaming option that was in the .67 UK...

Post OFFICIAL ICS DISCUSSION THREAD - ONLY HERE

For the general public, beta roms with problems can cause much more damage reputation-wise (aka "this phone sucks, it crashes all the time lol"). Also, I like how Asus has pushed fast ICS releases for the Transformer, but it does not yet have the stability of the previous HC version. Picking up...

Post [Q] Xperia S Black or White?

I first thought I would get the white version, but after seeing some videos, the black version does look nice, in a 2001-monolith kind of way, and the transparent bar really shines in all this blackness. Also it would color-match my old SE K800i ;)

    Post [ROM] Revolver by Gnufabio | 3.11.1 - HC3B1 | Jan 20 | FW 8.6.5.21 | RevolverParts

Nice, so we will not have to wait for ICS to get battery life back (hopefully) And it looks like the new market will be there too? And some other bugfixes and new features, all in all it looks like a nice update

Post I'd like to buy a NAS Server for my transformer to use the DLNA capability, any idea

Transformer with UPnPlay + Moboplayer works great with my Synology NAS. But if you only use it to stream videos, this is a bit of an overkill. As a great home NAS with DLNA bonus video streaming it works great :) http://www.synology.com/products/product.php?product_name=DS411slim

    Post Facebook

I was checking comments on some app I worked on (on android web market), and I noticed it's marked as incompatible for my transformer, while I'm pretty sure there is no specific tablet blacklist code Common point between this app and latest 1.6 facebook? Both ask for SMS permissions...

    Post [CM7 Theme Chooser]NTSense - Sense for CM7!!! (Updated 5/9)

I tried the UOT kitchen to add back supercicle battery mod (custom with gradient), but theme chooser fails on the file with: "This theme was improperly compiled and cannot be applied. Please report the incident to the theme author" (either that or theme not showing up if disabling preview) So I...

    Post [ROM] CyanogenMod experimental builds

Well, "turn over to silence" option definitely does not like my Legend :/ I tested a full wipe, and clean install of bare nightly 19, checked and unchecked the option a few times, rebooted the phone: no dice it kept ringing after turned face down on the table. Checking with "Android Sensor...

    Post [ROM] CyanogenMod experimental builds

Thanks for the confirmation! Indeed I had "fixed" LED notifications this way, but this did not help for silence ringing... I'll try again tonight with a clean install to see if some of my settings are at fault in this

    Post [ROM] CyanogenMod experimental builds

Turn over to silence feature CM7 on Legend runs quite well here :) I think the Sense roms days on my Legend are over now The only problem I have so far: does the "turn over to silence" call setting work for you? I have checked the sensor's reading with a test application and they're fine...

Indeed thanks BlaY0 for fixing the Tatooine suns! And thanks Dr.Romca for the pointers Now that my phone survived my com.htc.resources.apk hacking, I just have to wait for a nice and sunny day to test if I fixed it correctly :)

Post [SOLVED] Two suns/moons when FS animation shows

Aah so my eyes are still fine, and there is a bug here indeed :) Too bad HTC probably won't bother for another Legend update, so we'll have to learn to live with 2 moons (and 2 suns!)

Post [ROM] B 0.8.4 based on stock HTC FroYo (04/13/2011)

For the next major release, what do you think of adding flash_image/dump_image to /system/bin (or elsewhere in path)? These are useful now that we have S-OFF :)

Post [BOOT ANIMATIONS] by Dr.Romca - Quietly Rooted!

Thanks for the AmiBIOS + Knight Rider one, been using it since I rooted my Legend, I did not know there was a thread here too :) (google pointed me to your modaco forum post when I was looking for a bootanim)

Post [POLL] What ROM do you use?

I started with Modaco MCR r4, but now changed to B 0.2 :) It's Sense-based and already has most of the changes I made to the MCR rom (update Gapps, facebook, move busybox in /system, circular battery...). Only thing added is DrRomca's "amibios" bootanimation from Modaco forums

Post SOLVED!!Froyo Wont install, error in file red traingle with !

^ Greedybro that's what I was suggesting :) ANtiHazarD you know how to sign the zip? Maybe even better to just drop the ro.cid test from the script. But just in case, ro.cid=VODAP203 here
  37. P

Post SOLVED!!Froyo Wont install, error in file red traingle with !

Is there any way to recreate a valid update.zip after tweaking it? That is, modify META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script to drop that crappy 'assert(getprop("ro.cid"....' , rezip and try the update I except these FOTA files are signed and this is impossible, but that would solve it for us...

Post SOLVED!!Froyo Wont install, error in file red traingle with !

Red exclamation mark at 25%-33% SD card has 248MB left, internal memory is now 45MB (I removed some apps after first error), so I don't think it's related to free space... Note that my phone was originally branded (SFR - Vodafone France), but previous OTA updates worked fine :'(

Post Unbranded Legend getting Froyo in few days

Exactly! For those just updating, think about poor us who had this for months now (and no I don't like handcent) Mark Moons twitted: and after google translate: Yep, no doubt here he must be speaking about Legend ;)

    Post SKYPE at last!!

Hmm... Just seeing the list of permissions it requires confirms I'll stay away from this one as I did from the PC version. Oh well I lived without it so far without any problem, this won't change ;) edit: and for a 2.1 stock legend, that's also a pretty big app to install!
