Something does it during the installation of cm and your arrogance doesn't make you right. There are plenty of people experiencing issues with the use of GPS when installing cm. I'm not making any claims on what the installation does, but when I first installed cm7, everything except GPS...

@nomad4ever I couldn’t work this out either. I downloaded phonebook 2.0 as well as a couple of other group management apps from the market. Painful, but not a deal breaker.

Use mmc0 instead of mmc1

I see the same errors when I go into recovery, but I can still launch the fake flash version of recovery. Make sure the update.zip is the correct version.

Had the same with my phone with the original version. Since I applied the patches it hasn't happened yet. It would happen only intermittently, but most often when trying to access the GPS radio.

It is one thing to ask "Can this be done?" - this is a valid question and may be of interest to many people. It is disruptive and wrong to post something that is totally false even if you add a caveat such as needing to double check. Why not double check first then post.
