personally i'd say CyMod 7.2 with Launcher Pro - insanely fast, battery lasts ages, very mature CyMod build - perfect for the legend use something like titanium backup to strip out ADWlauncher which never did run very well on the legend. not trying to troll here, but i don't think the Legend's...

best GB rom i've found. i tend to strip out a lot of apps and use LauncherPro, but this rom zips along. v.nice.

love my rooted legend. CM7.1 - ADW + launcher pro = silky smooth. depends what you want from a smart phone really.

That was precisely the problem I was having - would charge but nothing else. Either send it back 4 repair or do it yourself. Once I replaced mine everything started working and I'm now running CM7.1 - is nice.

figured out what the problem was - the mini usb ports connector was screwed, as you can see here. bought a replacement for £10 from an amazon reseller, and all's working again.

no joy. i have absolutely no idea why this isn't working. what's particularly frustrating is that this has worked previously. once upon a time my legend was rooted, and i rooted it on this very pc. i had to flash stock firmware for a warranty repair... ffs.

this is awesome stuff but i'm either missing the obvious or it hasn't installed xRec. root worked fine. busybox enabled (according to titanium backup), but can't see xRec anywhere.

have you tried a wipe and load, instead of upgrade? the gps issue disappeared many builds a go for me. i wipe and load every now and again - especially for finals.

topic says it all. if i uninstall gallery3d the video app stops working reporting something about there being no video handler present. gallery3d's on the safe remove list...?

Build 14's the best so far for me. Pretty much flawless. I do prefer a clean install every few builds though.

Flashing Radio_47.39.35.09_7.13.35.05 seams to make a huge difference - not only to GPS (which starts working) but wifi as well.

i purchased a kingston 8GB class 4 which crapped out. android kept reported sdcard unexpectedly removed. tried all sorts (formatting in windows, android, quick, long, etc). RMA replacement did exactly the same, so i'm guessing kingston class 4's are best avoided.

I'm running CM7 full 3 (oh, full 4's out) with the radio upgrade from the dev forums, and it's pure awsome. gingerbread googness. battery life and speed are off the charts. blayo's rom is very good, but i gotta say CM7's... gingerbread. you'll loose flash lite, but the novelty wore off quickly...

heard that a lot of devs don't think 2.3 is worth the R&D, so are waiting for 2.4.
