How did you managed to sync Google contacts? I'm logged in, but can't sync the Google contacts.. https://i.postimg.cc/6pwhSrZ5/Screenshot-20190925-232201.jpg It looks impossible to get the Google Contacts synced /edit Google contact sync apk, did the trick.

Sharing location with WhatsApp will be enough, I think this should work if GPS will work normally.

Google pay won't be used, so no big problem. Google Maps should work I think.

Didn't buy it in the first place, but just installing Google play is the best option that's available I guess.

Looking at the installed apps, it looks like "Google play services updater" is already installed. How did you install Google play store?

Hmm that sucks, thanks for your reply. The best option is to install play store and remove all the other apps I think. Strangely I can't even find Play Store in the App Gallery.

Does this still work? I've have a VOG-AL00 and I can't find Play Store in the App Gallery ;s. I'm afraid flashing to a global version isn't possible.

Tried another thing. If I use the app Vaulty I can hide the photos and it gets encrypted. If I copy the encrypted files to the phone and open it in Vaulty all the timestamps seem OK. But if I let Vaulty to unhide the photos The problem with the timestamp got back. So the problem still isn't fixed.

This thing I find really annoying. If I've moved all my pictures/videos (including WhatsApp pictures etc.) and other data from my old phone's micro SD card (HTC) to the internal storage, a lot of the dates got adjusted. So a lot of my old pictures gets the date of today (just as a new picture)...
