From experience about a fortnight - if not then it usually means the UK is being skipped a particular update. Presumably that won't occur with 4.4.4.

As I've already asked... The release notes say HiRes is output through the headphone socket (as opposed to the USB socket to an external DAC) but only for DSD and PCM. Therefore I'm assuming that a HiRes FLAC file will not output through the headphone socket at it's original bit rate?

Tried the mod. What it seems to do is completely disable ALL Sony sound enhancements. So no ClearAudio, Dynamic Normaliser, Equalizer etc. So the deviation in sound is gone - but this can be achieved by simply turning them off without the mod? Rooted, removed original files, pasted new...

+1 to all the above. More importantly - WTF Sony? I connect my Z1 to a Sony head-unit - message comes up no Bluetooth allowed (just like the Z). Without Car Mode all I can use when connected via Mirrorlink is Google Maps - so no calls, no media. Again I ask - Sony - WTF?

My dock arrived today - it's minute! - at least half the size I was expecting. So that, along with using Wi-Fi for any non-Dropbox files, means I no longer have to open any flaps. :laugh:

Just flashed ARHD 13.2 & the wi-fi's back. Presumably an error's crept into the stock rom's.

Can't get wi-fi on either version :( Running 1.54 & 4A.17.3250.14. 3G & BT appear to be working normally. Came from ARHD 12.3 where everything worked as it should. Any ideas anyone?

Yup - tried a reflash but still no wi-fi either at initial setup or afterwards through settings - no networks are visible. Downloading the de-odexed version now to see if the problem persists.

Anyone else having problems with wi-fi - i.e. stuck on "turning on" yet showing 2 bars? (Going to try a reflash).

It's definitely German - but AFAIK shares the same build number but from a different CID - O2_002. I've lost track of what I've tried - but I believe I did flash it on my O2UK. It worked - but, because I'm hboot 1.54 the touch drivers don't.

No. fastboot boot recovery was used for my 4.2.1 nandroid. I reinstalled my 4.2.2 nandroid at least once - and it worked - so I don't see that there's a problem with using a custom recovery with 1.54 - as I say having lost it I now find that the 4.2.1 won't engage the touch screen drivers...
