Well my sdcard works fine in recovery. I'm not encountering random shutdowns on this rom but that's my only problem. I sometimes have to do lots of reset and reseating of battery and sdcard to make it work. :(

Got the same problem. Before this started happening, My phone heated up while i was playing. then i charged it and left it alone. when i checked it again, it was really hot even when the screen was off. Then this problem started happening eversince.

Is there a way to connect the phone to a computer as usb storage device? I can't see that option, only MTP and PTP which I don't need.

I use the charger and usb cable that came with it. I'm not sure if this still happens when I charge it from wall socket but I'm sure it always happens when it's connected to a computer which sucks because I use it more when it's connected to the pc.
