    Beta 3 updated via SD card method & cache wiped in System Recovery. So far so good. Gestures are better compared to Beta 2 (I'm using Nova Launcher with Gesture Hints turned on) Yeah, looks good! Reminds me of baby yoda.

    Yes unfortunately it will full wipe your phone. And yeah, it's safer to wait for the stable release. But if you want Android 10 now to beta test, then you'll need to try this method.

    This tip worked for me...thank you. Also, if you're stuck at system.img while downgrading to Pie via Odin, try using the old Samsung USB-USB C cable.

    Yes it's the official firmware from Huawei. It uses the same method as HiCare & System update to check the version of the firmware before installing. So if the dload software link is not legit your phone would not install it.

    Yes. Unzip it. Then open up the "Software" folder and copy the entire dload folder to the root of your SD card/USB OTG. After that turn off your phone. Then power it back on by holding all the 3 buttons until you see the Software Update screen pop up.
