I have F and U1 and the u1 doesn't have the sim manager option in the settings. I'm sure it's a firmware limitation but just don't u understand why the us unlocked version won't have it. Has anyone been able to get the sim manager in the U1 version?

It has been available in UAE for past couple of weeks. It only comes in green color and for some reason when I hold it, it feels slightly thicker and heavier than then 4g version.

Have you tried huawei board software. I am not sure if it will work, but its worth a shot I guess.

The resolution could done via adb, no need for the root.

After you finish installation, the last step it will be a toggle which is automatically set to "Delete installation package", just turn that toggle off before hitting done or open.

I finally pulled the trigger and went for 256gb. Lets see if this will replace my note 9 or iphone xs max.

I dont think the 256 and 128 would have a different file system. I have Xiaomi mi mix 128 and 256 and file system is same. I cant imagine Huawei making individual update firmwares for each storage option.

I am a bit confused about the bands. On the huawei site it says the phone has band 4 but on the L29 manual it shows that is does not and its missing some bands. Is that correct?

I got Note 9 512gb and it took me 2 days and I back to my global vivo nex. Honestly, Note is not worth them money, Gave it to the wife.

You can pre-order pretty much anywhere in UAE. For preorder, the 128gb comes with the headphones, and the 512 comes with headphone and speaker. The delivery date is 23rd for some vendors, but majority will start on 24th.

I have an International Nex and its a great device as a phone but the software is bad. I already preordered a 512gb note and should be delivered next week. For the price Nex is a great option, but if you care about the software and tweaks then I would suggest you go for note if you have the money.

Quick question, the clock and weather widget that comes with vivo always shows dual zone. I have not been able to change that. Am I missing something? PS, I have the international version.

Check the apn settings. Sometimes automatic apn setups add a proxy ip, and that could cause an issue.

If you use a good case you don't need to worry about it getting damaged. I broke 2 cuz I didn't have a case on them. but they were repairable. At the time I broke them, there were no parts, but now you can find all the parts and they are relatively cheap.

Is anyone else is having issue with the sensor warning popup. In the older roms you could press volume to disable but this latest epic doesn't have that. So I gotta keep turning the screen on and off till it goes away. Attached screenshot.

When I use Nova launcher and icon packs not few icons stay the same no matter what pack I use. Is there a way to change it. Gallery icon for example. It's the xiaomi one and it doesn't change.

I know most of the curved glass devices wont hold up to drops, but with samsung and other devices (major brands) at least I can get parts and repair the phone. With this phone that's not happening, However I still love it and its my daily phone.
