I am on LOS16 and have tried multiple gcams but astrophotography mode seems to not work. Closest i came across is from BSG but it displays around 3 minutes for the capture but terminates under 10 seconds with picture quality that is worse than night sight. I even tried mounting on tripod but...

Sir, Mi A2 Camera port by joeyhuab is crashing in portrait mode on capture. I have been told its better to ask you for help as it maybe hal related. I'm on LOS16(8 Aug build) with canting kernel. Installed magisk v19.3 and have selinux enforcing. Here are the logs on capture:

Portrait mode not working. I'm on LOS16 with magisk v19.3 and stock hal v3 with selinux enforcing. As soon as i click capture, it says can't connect to camera something.

It's mentioned in OP that it doesn't need to be permissive all the time, only enable while using Gcam. And yes i had aio v4 installed, i just removed in order to test older aio versions that's why it's not in screenshot. Let me test using lower magisk versions too. But is there anything strange...

Apologies. I have magisk v19.3 and here are the other modules. I even tried uninstalling vanced and using original YouTube, but same spinning circle with aio installed.

I too think that's strange. Plus i just found if i change selinux to permissive, YouTube works fine with module. But i like to point out that i was using YouTube just fine with selinux enforcing (when i dont have module installed). May be it has something to do with selinux?

After flashing your module my YouTube app doesn't load content. It detects when I'm switching off data or enable data, but doesn't load. As soon as i uninstall your module, it works fine. Tried like 10 times, youtube works only after uninstalling the module. I'm on LOS16 with canting kernel...

He's probably using some custom kernel. I often have random reboot in a day or two coz of extreme kernel, atleast that's what logs point at.

Mine is rebooting too, atleast once/day. There're logs in /sys/fs/pstore/. I don't understand them well but there is a snippet that caught my attention. Tell me if you need them.

I forgot to boot into twrp first tym that's why i posted 2nd boot logs. I reinstalled through magisk and here are the logs. And yes, system folder is still missing. Thank you.

I captured these logs on 2nd boot after aml flash and only viper installed. Tell me if immediate boot logs after flash are needed. Thank you!

I'm on magisk 19.1. And yes, it only breaks viper when installed through magisk. i uninstalled and reinstalled through magisk, viper breaks. I even uninstalled your test version and flashed 2.1 through twrp, viper intact, no problems. But I'm not sure if ainur sauron is working fine...

I'm not sure if this is the correct way, but i flashed aml in twrp, then captured the logs. Interestingly, now drivers are not broken in viper.

As per troubleshooting, here is further info. 1) Viper+Sauron installed, both latest version. 2) Installed Aml last week, so no prior version compatibility applicable. 3) (/sbin/.core/img/aml) folder is attached. 4) (/sbin/.core/img/.core/aml) there's no such folder.

Thanks for replying. I did installed/uninstalled multiple times. Even tried changing the order like sauron first then viper and vice versa. Viper still brakes. I even tried rebooting between each module install, still fails.

Same case. Aml installation even breaks jdsp, it keeps on saying to install driver. After removing aml, running "dumpsys media.audio_flinger" shows library not loaded tag is empty, that's theoretically all modules are working fine without aml. Why so? Isn't aml supposed to make them work...

But libs not loaded tag is empty. And aml is breaking viper as well. It even broke jdsp on my device. Without it, no driver issues pops up when opening viper or jdsp. About aml, i will try asking in its thread as well, whatever can help.

Thank you so much. I just downloaded and installed aosp just fine. Don't know what is wrong with CAF. It was stuck at boot logo for like 30 minutes and then i quit and opted for aosp.

Hello Sir, i was on OPSS28.85-13-5 when i flashed custom rom. The link you provided lists OPSS28.85-13-3 as the latest firmware. Should i install that? I am from India if that helps. Help please.
