Finally Reddit user found an answer. To anyone without home landscape: to get this feature, all you need to do is also update Bixby Home in Samsung Apps. Then the option appears straight away. Updating Home Experience alone is not enough strangely.

I can confirm this now works on XEU Exynos too, typing on swift keyboard :) Security patch Aug 1st. Happy days. Now they just need to fix home landscape (on my unit it doesn't work, even though it's the correct app ver) and I need to use adb to add black nav bar, but that's for another thread.

No loudspeaker problems at all. But main screen has indeed dark shade on top, just below 2nd display. I only notice it when reading books. It's not a big problem IMHO, but it's bad on LG side to release it like this.
