I followed the steps exactly as described, with the files linked. This Desire had CM7 installed, if that could make a difference. I'll give it another go and see what happens.

Would love to have my phone naked but it's simply not practical or durable. A TPU shell saves the bacon so many times, there is no option. I like my phones to at least have a decent chance to survive accidents. Totally hate flip covers though.
